Where to start?
There are so many organisations and charities out there that offer support to military spouses and partners with their careers or businesses. Recruit for Spouses, the Forces Employment Charity, Forces Families Jobs, TechVets, Milspo Network, Career Pursuit, X-Forces Enterprises, Supporting the Unsung Hero, Heropreneurs, and many more.
All provide an excellent service. But they don't all offer the same service provision.
Which one is right for me?
Well, that’s the sixty-four-thousand-dollar question.
Now, of course, you can head over to all these websites and browse to your heart’s content until you have all the information you need, but that takes time and effort.
Furthermore...
Not every website is easy to navigate and can be a confusing and frustrating user experience.
You can find yourself going round and round in circles, hopping from page to page and back in an attempt to join up the dots, in your quest to gather the information you need to make that all-important decision whether to engage or not.
Some websites only offer the bare bones of what they do because they want you to get in touch to find out more. It's called marketing, but it's not always useful, often throwing up more questions than answers.
Perhaps you’re not ready.
Perhaps you’d like some more information before you take the first step. You're just not sure and you fear filling in that 'Contact Us' form in case you get bombarded with unwanted incoming calls and emails.
And you’re busy. Really busy. And you don’t have the time to do a deep dive into every organisation that might be able to support you.
That’s where we come in.
Spotlights on Organisations that support the Armed Forces community
We want our members to have all the facts at their fingertips to support that all-important decision-making process.
So, we do all the hard yards for our members.
How?
We conduct in-depth interviews with these organisations and summarise the key points in easy-to-read, easy-to-navigate blogs.
We ask the questions that we know our members want answers to.
We fill the gaps that websites often throw up.
We join the dots and make it easy for our members to get the information they need to support informed decision-making.
And then we make it easy to find by ensuring every piece of content is properly tagged and indexed in our Members Area.
Why not join our network and take a look!
Membership of the MCN is free and open to the partners and spouses of anyone who is currently serving either as a regular or reservist, or has served in the past, or the partner of someone who was killed in action or died during active military service.
